Fishing fun with a phonics focus!
A stand alone game to introduce the key skill of blending sounds.
Players 'catch' a head, a tum and a fish tail and blend the letter sounds to make a CVC word. Then pop fish in the pan to fry!
Replacing parts of the fish gives scope for an amusing game.
Introduces vowel sounds 'a' and 'i' with a selection of consonants. Some blank fish for extra letters.
